Advocacy

Through media campaigns, lobbying and participation in local and international coalitions, ACTRA Toronto advocates for better cultural policies, a stronger film and television industry and more work opportunities for our members.

ACTRA is a branch of ACTRA National and a member of the International Federation of Actors (FIA). We are affiliated with the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) and has an alliance with the United Steelworkers.
