Attention ACTRA Toronto members: please sign up for picket duty...

January 5, 2007 - One key item of our strategy over the coming weeks will be our picket teams, consisting of ACTRA members, to make sure we deliver a strong message to producers.

All members are welcome and encouraged to take part in any picketing activity. We will need a core group of ACTRA members to be on duty each and every day, ready to go wherever necessary at a moment’s notice. Picketers will be chosen randomly, on a rotating basis, from a list of those who indicate they would like to take part in picketing activity. Daily picket pay of $75 will be paid to those chosen randomly for duty each day. All others are welcome as volunteers.

Unfortunately, ACTRA Toronto cannot guarantee the number of days you will be asked to perform picket duty.
