Apprentice Caucus

The Apprentice Executive was elected to represent the more than 3,400 Apprentice Caucus Members as a "voice" at ACTRA Toronto Council. The Executive's mandate is to inform Apprentice members about our industry and union and to outline the concerns of Apprentice members to the Council.

The principles for the executive are as follows:

• To act in the best interests of fellow Apprentice members
• To work with ACTRA Toronto in a professional and co-operative manner
• To listen to the concerns of fellow Apprentice members and to assist them within our means to do so
• To work toward improving the working opportunities and conditions of Apprentice members
• To always remember that we are part of ACTRA and, as such, our mandate is to include working with ACTRA Toronto, and never against it.

Apprentice members are encouraged to contact the members of their executive and to get involved with having an influence on decisions made and actions taken within the union, while still respecting and understanding ACTRA protocol as it currently exists - politically and structurally.
