Pre-December 15, 2010 Information

Apprentice Membership

To become an Apprentice member you will pay a $75 initiation fee plus fees for each of the work permits required.

Full Membership

To become a Full member through the Apprenticeship Program you will pay an initial fee of $450 plus one year's basic dues of $195. Full ACTRA members pay working dues of 2.25% of gross earnings up to a maximum of $4,000. Basic yearly dues are paid each year in April and can be paid online or through Member Services.

Members of the Canadian Actors' Equity Association (CAEA) joining ACTRA pay $225, which is one half of the regular initiation fee, plus $195 annual dues.

Members of SAG, AFTRA, Equity (U.K.)or the MEAA (Australia) pay a $900 initiation fee plus $195 in annual dues to join after landing a speaking part or SOC role in ACTRA's jurisdiction.
