Reciprocal Agreements with Other Performers' Unions

If you belong to a professional performers' organization that has a reciprocal agreement with ACTRA you may join as a Full member based on your first engagement in ACTRA's jurisdiction.

Members of the Canadian Actors' Equity Association (CAEA) must join ACTRA after their first speaking part, SOC or background engagement in ACTRA's jurisdiction. Equity members pay $225, which is one half of the regular initiation fee, plus $195 annual dues.

Members of SAG, AFTRA, Equity (U.K.) or the MEAA (Australia) pay a $900 initiation fee plus $195 in annual dues to join after landing a speaking part or SOC role in ACTRA's jurisdiction.
