Reciprocal Agreements with Other Performers' Unions

If you belong to a professional performers' organization that has a reciprocal agreement with ACTRA you may join as a Full member based on your first engagement in ACTRA's jurisdiction.

Members of the Canadian Actors' Equity Association (CAEA) must join ACTRA after their first speaking part, Silent-On-Camera C or background engagement in ACTRA's jurisdiction. Equity members pay $450, plus $195 annual dues.

Members of the Screen Actors' Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) or Equity (U.K.) pay a $1600 initiation fee plus $195 in annual dues to join after landing a speaking part or Silent-On-Camera role in ACTRA's jurisdiction.
