The ACTRA Toronto Stunt Committee is composed of 5 elected members and 3 alternates. This committee elects its chairperson from the members of the committee.
If you are interested in running, you must meet the eligibility requirements below, and submit your ACTRA Toronto Stunt Committee Nomination Form by Friday, September 29, 2017.

According to the ACTRA Toronto By-Laws, to be eligible to nominate, run for election or vote for the Toronto Stunt Committee, an ACTRA member must:
Recognizing that there may be special circumstances where, for example, a stunt performer has been unable to work on at least 3 stunt contracts in the last 24 months as a result of a disability or due to retirement, a member may apply to have their name added to the voters list by October 5th, 2017. Applications to add names to the voters list will be considered by the ACTRA Toronto Executive Director or designate.
Recipients of the ACTRA Toronto Stunt Community Award will be added as permanent members of the voters list.
Note, we are conducting ACTRA Toronto Council elections at the same time. Stunt performers who are eligible to run for the stunt committee may also run for a position on the ACTRA Toronto Council.
Stunt Committee members, in addition to their commitment and passion for their work, are strong team players, with well-developed communication skills, a sense of humour, and a strong desire to improve the working terms and conditions of all performers.

Nominations close. (No later than 35 days from distribution date).
October 6, 2017
Statements in to Executive Director. (No later than 5 working days following close of nominations).
October 20, 2017
Ballots to be distributed. (No more than 14 working days following close of nominations).
November 19, 2017
Return of ballots. (No less than 30 days from distribution of ballots).
At the first meeting of the ACTRA Toronto Stunt Committee in 2018, the newly elected members elect one of their number to serve as Stunt Committee Chair.
