Dear ACTRA Toronto members,

Entertainment Partners’ Canada is excited to invite you to sign up and create your own account on the new EP Residency application.

Upload copies of the documents which support your Canadian and provincial residency to the Ep Residency application. In the future, when you’re hired on a production which is accessing EP’s Residency application, you can use the system to securely share your documents with that production.

It’s easy! To begin using the program, select ‘Register now’ on the Entertainment Partners sign-in page to set up a new account.

NOTE: When accessing the application, please use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge. Other browsers, such as Internet Explorer are not supported.

Everyone who registers should begin by completing the fields in the ‘Personal Information’ section. If you work though a loan-out company, you will also be required to complete the ‘Company’ section. The next step is to upload your documents.

You do not have to register under both unions. You should only have one profile, where you will upload all of your documents. Please select one union for now.

Yes, everyone will be required to upload their ‘Personal’ residency documents. If you work though a loan-out company, you will also be required to upload the requested ‘Company’ documents.

The system will accept an uploaded document in any of the following three formats: .jpg, .png, .pdf

Yes you can. EP encourages workers to redact/strike out any sensitive or financial information on their documents, prior to submitting them. All dollar amounts, account numbers, etc. can be redacted/struck out. The items that must remain visible are the identifying features of the document (showing the provider and type of document), your name and address, and the date of the document.

The Summary page is the page that should be uploaded. It shows the provincial tax paid (see images below). As noted above, financial information can be redacted or struck out. .
