Need counselling or other health services, including crisis support?
- Call the Members and Family Assistance Program (MFAP Support) at 1-844-880-9142.
- Identify yourself as having access to the MFAP through AFBS. You will need to provide your ACTRA membership number and date of birth.
A free, 24-hour, 7-day-a-week crisis counselling, emotional support, information and referrals via telephone to individuals (including men) living in Ontario – anonymous and confidential. Services available in up to 200 languages.

Operates a free, 24 hour, 7 days a week crisis phone line to assist anyone who has been sexually assaulted or abused, survivors of incest, childhood sexual assault; and family and friends of those who have experienced sexual violence. LGBTQ and trans-friendly services. Additional in-person services include access to peer support groups, court support, advocacy and accompaniment.
A 24-hour, multilingual, toll-free phone line for immediate crisis and referral services.
Independent Legal Advice
The pilot program provides eligible survivors living in the City of Toronto, the City of Ottawa, or the District of Thunder Bay with up to four hours of free, legal advice from one or more lawyers on the referral list by phone, or in person.
Legal clinic for women and people with non-binary gender identity living in Toronto providing legal information and representation on issues related to sexual abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Counselling services also available.
Legal services to individuals in Ontario who have experienced discrimination contrary to the Human Rights Code. Services available in 140 languages. Access services by calling phone line.

Resources for Men
Counselling services for male survivors of sexual abuse (historical sexual abuse and victims of recent sexual assault). Family of male survivor may also be eligible for services.
Organization for men and boys working to end violence against women and girls, promote gender equity, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity. Provides workshops and education campaigns.
Information and services to men with histories of unwanted or abusive sexual experiences, and their loved ones. Resources include a 24/7 online support line offering 1-on-1 chat with a trained advocate, free and confidential online peer support groups, and online information.
